Platano Verde #14

Epa, me acabo de dar cuenta que salí publicado en la revista PLATANO VERDE (# 14 - que salió en Diciembre '07), aun no tengo la revista pero lo vi por su blog.
Ahí van a ver una pieza que hice para ellos, de acrílico sobre madera; tabien verán los billetes, y de fondo unos bocetos de algunos cuadros incluyendo el de "transicion" de Edgar.

Hey there, I just found out that I've been published in PLATANO VERDE magazine (# 14 - which came out on December '07) - (for you people outside Venezuela, this is one of the best magazines in the fields of: graphic design, photography, art, illustration and underground industry...), I still don't have this number, but I saw it on their blog.
There you'll see a piece I made for them, acrylics on wood; you'll also see the bills, and some sketches in the background, including Edgar's "transition".

Well, you can see i get lost a lot, but then i get back again... And I'm coming WITH EVERYTHING!
Right now I'm making a big piece in canvas (at least big for me), about 48 x 32", it's for my nephew Mikel who lives in Australia. I'll post it soon...

TRANSICION

Aja, bueno, este ha sido el ultimo cuadro que he hecho hasta el momento (como que ando en una de poca inspiracion), pero pronto comenzare de nuevo (culpen la epoca del ano). Lo hice para mi hermanazo Edgar, y ahi lo tienen en su sala.

Carrot's

Estas son unas ilustraciones para un pana en Serbia que tienen una tienda llamada "Carrot Skateboards". Me pidieron dos para franelas y una para una tabla de patineta (que viene luego).
Gracias a mi hermanazo Jaun Vivas por la digitalizacion en illustrator y photoshop y el diseno en general.
Ahi tambien se las coloco como WALLPAPERS.

These illustrations were made for a friend in Serbia who has a store named "Carrot Skateboards". He asked me for two illus. for tee-shits and one for a skateboard (tha's on its way).
Thanks to my bro Juan Vivas for the digital work and design on illustrator / photoshop. (nice teamwork dude).

Este es un boceto para la portada de un single de unos panas. Me pidieron un tipo raro (con rasgos de elefante), bueno, eso fue lo que salio.
NOTA: creo que nunca lo escogieron para la portada, jajaja. (pero no importa, aqui seguimos)

This one's a sketch for some friend's single's front image. They asked me for a freak kind of man (with elephant characteristics), well, that's what came out.

Hey, les voy poniendo mis bocetos como salgan y mis pinturas en orden cronologico.
Comenzando con la primera pintura, salio por accidente luego de derramar tinta sobre una tabla de madera. En la misma tabla comence a trabajar mezclando acrilico y grafito...

Un pelo de info

Ok, en este espacio voy a tratar de mostrar lo que hago en mis momentos de ocio (dibujo e illustracion), asi como tambien mostrare lo que hago en mi oficio diario (arquitectura), para que me comenten ahi lo que quieran. OJO (pila con lo que ponen ahi, jaja)...
NOTA: para mis hermanos de habla Hispana, les aviso que de vez en cuando posteare en ingles dependiendo de mi interes hacia un publico INTERNACIONAL (you know?).
